I miss Chicago so much. This session was so much fun. Vince and Sara had only been engaged for a few weeks, they took me all over the city, took me to a brewery and out for dinner. Had delicious food, great beer and even better conversation. Such an amazing couple, such a fantastic session….

I wanna tell you, how much I love you. Come with me, my love to the sea, the sea of love. I wanna tell you, how much I love you. – Sea of Love, Cat Power –

Awesome job Kayla! The second picture of them sitting is amazingly beautiful. I was so glad to see they chose you!
Congrats Jess & Brian!

I love this couple. I know I shouldn’t choose favorites, but they are right there, up at the top of the list. They introduced me to Chicago and have helped me in so many different ways to get my business up and running in their city, a city that I fell crazy in love with…

Kayla,

Ashley - Kayla, I love a lot, if not all of your photos, but THESE are my favorite! Ever! What a lucky couple to have such great pictures!
Kaori - Many Canadian PAD (people of African Descent) arrived on our sohres through slavery. One of the fables we teach in our schools is that there have never been slavery in Canada. Techinically true yes, as Canada became a country after the slave trade was abolished, but there were many slave owners here before Canada became Canada. Also, though I love my country and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, and though I also agree that Canada is far more “tolerant” than our neighbours to the South, being “tolerated” is still looking at a glass less than half full. Living here, I and other people who have skins that are not white, can tell you that this country is not “…an oasis of diversity and tolerance.” Canadians are like Californians. They believe their own hype and are horrified when confronted with their racism, believing that they’re the good guys. On another note:Ms Jean, is indeed a beautiful, intelligent, warm human being who is very smart, and very creative. And I am indeed, very proud that she is our Governor General – that person who holds an office even higher than the Prime Minister, being directly appointed by the Queen to be her representative in our country, is a PAD woman. Thank you for your many articles.
