Magazine Cover + Office Space: Exciting News!
“As people with the creative spirit, we’re obsessed with possibility. We live for the rush of turning a thought – an abstract idea – into something real, tangible, touchable, readable, effectual, profitable. We feel empowered, generous even, in the making of our art. We have a practical indignation for mediocrity. We love to get things done.”
– Danielle LaPorte, Fire Starter Sessions –
I love this book. This quote so perfectly sums up my 2012-2013 off season. I normally take this time to relax, to breathe, to spend time with my husband, family and friends. Instead? I have been bursting at the seams with excitement for my business and all of the amazing places it will be taking me this year. The past two weeks have been especially exciting.
My blog and website have been completely perfected by my genius graphic designer and I am so thrilled with how they turned out. It is such a true reflection of myself and my business.
My photo was chosen for the cover of JStyle Weddings and I couldn’t be more excited about this.
Dustin and Sarah are honestly one of the most amazing couples I have ever been able to work with. They are one in a million. The way that they met, fell in love, it is such a remarkable story. The similarities, their shared interests, they are that perfect match. They so deserve to be on the cover of this wonderful magazine … and I must say, its pretty cool to see my photo on the cover and my name and other photos of mine spread throughout the magazine!
Oh, and one more little thing … I rented my first office space! This is HUGE for me. I simply can’t wait to get in there and have an office away from home to work out of, meet with potential clients, hang out with past clients turned friends and have a store front face to Full Bloom Photography. The city did their inspection on Monday and there are a few minor things that are being worked on right now and I am hoping to have the keys late next week. I already have my inspiration for the space and will start painting and decorating as soon as those keys are in my hands:)
Below are some photos of JStyle Magazine featuring my photos.
What is most important is for me to say “THANK YOU” x a million to all of my current and past clients for supporting me and trusting me with capturing such important memories. None of what I am sharing right now would be possible without you.
