Jimmy + Erica: Cleveland Ohio Wedding
I can’t start this post without thanking the ever-so-fabulous Tess from Tess Smith Photography for sending Jimmy & Erica my way. Tess is Erica’s sister in law and was part of the bridal party so was unable to photograph the day. To say that I’m thankful for the referral doesn’t say enough – Erica and Jimmy are so perfect together and having the opportunity to capture the way he looked at her the entire day – I am so lucky.
We started the day off at Erica’s mom’s home getting ready with an amazing group of ladies:
Erica made her veil herself – it was stunning.
Erica’s flower girls were SO adorable and SO excited about their gifts 🙂
Her shoes and dress were to die for. Give me a pair of cute shoes and I am one happy photographer.
Erica’s bridesmaids were amazing – especially the maid of honor. While everyone else was getting ready, she was busy “tying” up the loose ends!
Seriously, couldn’t get enough of her sweet flower girls. Love these shots of them getting their makeup done by their Aunt.
And it was time for the dress!
Mother-Daughter moments. Make me tear up.
Erica made the most beautiful bride.
The ceremony was held at St. Luke’s in Lakewood and was ended with a bubble exit – I am always up for a bubble exit 🙂
And there were bubbles!
I was so excited when Erica told me that she wanted to go to one of my favorite spots in Cleveland for her bridal shots – The Martin Luther King Drive Gardens. Because there was a foot of snow on the ground and it was f-rrrr-eezing out, we only stopped at the italian garden (my favorite!) for a short while, but in that short while, we made some photo-magic.
The reception was held at a venue I have been longing to shoot at for its history and the gorgeous details throughout. The Glidden house staff were phenomenal to work with and I loved the flow of the rooms.
This cake. Two words. Beautiful + Delicious.
The reception was rockin’ from the first dance through the end of the night …
The amazing vendors who put together and worked on this wedding were:
Dress: David’s Bridal
Florist: Life in Bloom
Catering: Marigold Catering
Venue: The Glidden House
Michelle Chernock - Beautiful wedding – beautiful photos. I love the new blog Kayla! It looks great! Did you customize it yourself?
fbp-blog - Thanks Michelle! I did customize it myself – my graphic designer created the banner and the dots along the sides of the main column but I handled the rest of the customization 🙂 … which is probably why it took me 10x longer than I had planned to launch the site!
jenny Haas - GORGEOUS WEDDING!!! You did a great job capturing it Kayla! I love your work 🙂
Jennifer Nester - I LOVE these pic’s! I want my wedding pic’s to be just like these ones! Looks like everyone had sooo much fun!
Karno - first of all, i think you look beautiful. i love the fact that you care about the scoteiy. but you make me feel terrible when you mention about our motherland. you know,China is a huge country, and it takes time to develop a better legislative system. please don’t say anything to attack our own country!
