Amanda & James: Muhlhauser Barn Wedding

.

This wedding was extra special to me. The bride is sisters with one of my  very best friends and I was lucky enough to be asked to capture her wedding day. Not only did I love taking the photos for their special day, I loved being around Amanda’s family all day (I simply love them) and feeling all of the love that surrounded Amanda and James.

They were married at the beautiful Muhlhauser Barn in West Chester, Ohio and Amanda hand crafted everything – from all of her florals, apple butter wedding favors, and hand carved pumpkins as table numbers:)

Here are a few photos from their rehearsal and dinner:

& now for the main event:)

How wonderful to relive that day through your photos, Kayla!

Happy Days Lodge Halloween Wedding

A halloween wedding? A red wedding dress? Tina and Paul could not have pulled off a better themed wedding – I mean literally, they could not have added any more details, decor or awesomeness to their day. It was SO MUCH FUN. Ridiculously fun – and I knew I was in for the most fun wedding day when I showed up to the hotel for getting ready photos and in walked a dead clown. She was the makeup artist:)and it only got better from there!

It still takes my breath away! I remember Tina talking about how she wanted everything to be, but once you see it in person…it’s just awesome how everything came together. <3 you guys!

Oh my! The pumpkin carving in the ceremony is such a cute idea! And the little werewolf! That must have been one of the happiest and best receptions ever! Costumes must really get everyone mingling. And her petticoats! Such a nice touch. Awesome.

Sandy & Matt – Conrad Botzum Farmstead

Sandy & Matt’s wedding was one of my 2011 favorites. They were married in October on the most gorgeous day that I photographed a wedding on all year. Perfect temperature, perfect sunlight, perfect couple! The Conrad Botzum Farmstead was such a beautiful backdrop for their wedding day and I am pretty smitten with their photos … and their sweet little pup, Pepper!
